  • What's New?

  • HTML version of test case specification is available. (July 2004) NEW!
  • The online test center has opend. (July 2004) NEW!
  • The Challenge PKI 2003 project page has opend. (April 2004)

  • TSP Test Suite
The Timestamp-protocol Interoperability Test Suite can create various TSTs and TSRs regardless of the RFC3161 compliance. Using the test suite, you can test an interoperability of a TSP client for RFC3161. The test cases represent all the requirements that are phrased as MAY, SHALL, SHOULD, MUST, and REQUIRED in RFC3161.

The test DB is controllable via web-based interface by an administrator of the test suite. You can download the test suite for RedHat Linux or try on-line and off-line test through the test center.

    TSA for client testing NEW!
Please access to following URL using timestamp clients via TSP over HTTP. The test TSA is for on-line interoperability testing based on Challenge PKI 2003 TSP test case.

xxxxx indicates an ID code based on a testcase specification. For example, the test TSA replies normally at ID=10001, replies with invalid mime-type at ID=10002 and rejects your request at ID=10004. Fifty-four testcases are available currently.

You cannot edit test cases here because it is a sample page. To modify the test cases, please download a test suite.

    Free TSAs
  • Fst Ricerca (currently down)
Fst Research & Development is a R&D section of Fabbrica Servizi Telematici Corporation in Italy. Free test TSA and windows client are available from Fst's site. The client supports transport protocols of both HTTP and TCP and various hash algorithms of SHA1, MD5 and RIPEMD160, but cannot validate a chain of multiple certificates. Fst's web server has some troubles now, however the TSA testing service is available at [TCP] ricerca3.fst.it:318 or [HTTP] ricerca3.fst.it:8080/servlet/httptsp.tsa

  • OpenTSA
OpenTSA is an open source project to develop timestamp related software. Free test client and TSA are available. The client and test TSA support transport protocols of both HTTP and HTTPs. The client can validate a chain of multiple certificates.

  • EdelWeb
Edelweb is a French company and has developed timestamp technology for several years. Free test TSA is now availble and test client will be released by OpenEvidence project. The test TSA supports both HTTP and HTTPs. The specs of the test TSA deviates a little from RFC 3161 about reqPolicy, keyUsage and response format.

  • TORSEC
TORSEC is a project in Torino Politechnico in Itally. Free test client and TSA are available and they supports pure TCP connection only. TORSEC's timestamp token has a chain of four certificates. The specs of the test TSA deviates a little from RFC 3161 about reqPolicy and status code.

  • C&A (C&A has been integrated into ANDXOR)
C&A is a company in Italy and is a menber of OpenEvidence project. Free test TSA and Web-based timestamping service are available. The test TSA supports transport protocols of both HTTP and TCP and various hash algorithms of SHA1, MD5 and RIPEMD160, C&A's timestamp token has a chain of two certificates.

  • ANDXOR
ANDXOR is an Italian privately owned company. Their TSA, "TimeEvolution", based on Intel and Sparc platform running FreeBSD and Solaris10 O.S. TimeEvolution supports RFC 3161 and Microsoft Authenticode protocols.

  • AEC TrustPort
AEC is a company in Czech Republic. Its homepage is written in Czech but free English client and test TSA are available. The test client can only access to AEC's test TSA and can validate a chain of multiple certificates only from AEC's TSA.

  • Unizeto Sp. z o.o. CERTUM
Unizeto Sp. z o.o. is a company in Poland and is certified by WebTrust. Free test client and TSA service are available for private or non-profit users.

  • nCipher
nCipher is a company in U.K. and provides HSM, TSA server, TA servers and other security products. Their test TSA service is available.
